2/17/2025: Private event for The Bickford, Oswego residents
This event is only open to The Bickford residents and their guests. Misty River Music Makers finds themselves full of joy after sharing songs from their current repertoire with residents of independent and assisted living homes. We look forward to being part of a wonderful interactive experience.
5/12/2025: Harmonize and Hang Out with Misty
Misty River Music Makers is hosting a guest night! Have you ever considered singing in a chorus? Why not join us for an evening of fun as we explore the joy of singing harmony together?
We’ll start the evening with our featured speaker, Erin Carney, a professional singer, voice instructor, and owner of Unlock Voice Studio, Chicago. Erin will share how to unlock your voice’s potential, including expanding your range, caring for your voice, and some tips and tricks when singing harmony.
Then, after we’ve learned about our instruments, we’ll put them to use! We’ll break into the four parts and learn a song, 59th Street Bridge – Feelin’ Groovy, together.
Please RSVP to let us know you’ll be coming and we’ll send you audio tracks to hear the parts sing the song in advance of our event.

Misty is excited to be invited back to the Batavia Public Library to perform; we hope it becomes an annual tradition! Join us at 2:00 PM for an hour of the unique sound that only barbershop harmony can deliver. Batavia Public Library, 10 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510
8/9/2025: Batavia Farmer’s Market
This annual event is a favorite of Misty’s. We love seeing everyone stop by to watch, dance, or sing along with our chorus. Come join us for this fun event for kids, teens, and adults alike! We will be there between 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on the River Street promenade.
